INVENTION IS MADE ON AN EMPLOYEE'S OWN TIME?
An employee's invention, regardless of whether University time or resources
are used, must be disclosed according to University procedures. However,
if an employee believes an invention to be his/her own, the disclosure
form may be accompanied by an explanation of the circumstances to the
VPRIT Office, who will then make a determination on ownership of the invention.
